Exquisite Corpse Student Showcase and Halloween Celebration
For this event the client wanted promotional materials that included aspects of the surrealist party game, "Exquisite Corpse", where people would draw on sections of a folded piece of paper and in the end reveal a strange miss-matched monster. They also wanted a kitschy, campy vibe to the promotional materials, and since the opening of the event was a Halloween Party, the client wanted elements of Halloween as well. With the clients direction I chose to combine different silly concepts together like pin-up girl bodies with strange heads and surroundings. I used a kitschy, but still halloween themed color palette with the bright pinks and gooey greens. The client ended up choosing two of my designs and so we made a series of promotional materials.
